Megyn Kelly Wants Catt Sadler On Her Show, and NBC Is Pissed Because of Synergy

If there’s one thing NBC loves, it’s undervaluing their greatest assets (like Tamron Hall and Hoda Kotb). If there’s another thing NBC loves, it’s wasting money. But if there’s a third thing NBC loves, it’s corporate synergy.

Like the other two big network morning shows, Today loves to promote the hell out of other NBCUniversal properties from 7:00 to 11:00AM every morning. So when the bigwigs down at 30 Rock found out Megyn Kelly wanted to book former E! host Catt Sadler, they reportedly flipped. Why? Because E! is part of the NBCUniversal family, and Sadler (understandably) hates their guts.

An insider, let’s call her Reagyn Jelly, tells Page Six:

They are appalled [Kelly] would use their own airtime to criticize the company. It was bad enough when Debra Messing weighed in on [Sadler’s grievance] on the Golden Globes red carpet on NBC. Now Megyn is going to put Catt front and center — on NBC! Yikes.”

(They even included a “yikes”!)

Imagine owning and living in a big, old, beautiful house. Now imagine and spending $20 million on a jumbo garbage bag filled with hungry termites, and then letting those suckers loose in your walls.

There’s plenty of more interesting shit going on in the world (even in the celebrity news world) than the drama currently simmering between the Gorga family and some reportedly “shady” managers of Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza…BUT I still think it’s funny, so here’s an update.

The restaurant, which opened in New Jersey last year to considerable fanfare, will be shutting down soon because Joe, Melissa, and Theresa want to open a larger location somewhere else with different management. They say the current managers are less than capable, and don’t like having their highly respected family name on something so poorly run. (Hmmm.) The problem? People are still lining up to eat at the soon-to-be-closing location—the one that the Gorgas hate.

Said Melissa:

“We are relocating and making it bigger, so we closed down that location. Do not go to that location. It is not Gorga’s.”

Don’t go to that shadily run Gorga’s that’s covered in our name and photos of our family, go to the new Gorga’s that isn’t open yet but will definitely be competently run by us, cast members of Real Housewives of New Jersey. What a perfect Bravo mess.
