In last night's season finale of Curb Your Enthusiasm, we were introduced to Greg, a flamboyant child for whom Larry buys a sewing machine. His mom, played by Ana Gasteyer, is horrified about Larry's gift and asks, "What, are you trying to turn him gay?" In the end, of course, Larry's gift backfires. Just watch.
Funny ep but I hated the usual arguments of kids don't/can't know at that age whether they're gay and, of course, the usual turning a kid gay by giving him anything remotely feminine. I know they were there for contrast but still enough with the false information and stereotypes.
