May This Be the Final Time I Ever Type R-o-b-i-n T-h-i-c-k-e

Robin Thicke, after allegations by his 7-year-old-son of using “excessive force,” has finalized a custody battle with Paula Patton, TMZ reports. As of February, Patton had filed a restraining order and Thicke was only allowed to see his son with a court-appointed monitor. This is fabulous news, since it’s hopefully the final time he’s ever in it.

I’ll never understand the sex appeal of a boozy cigarette-withered middle-aged man with a hairpiece fondly nicknamed a rat, not to knock Frank Sinatra.

The New York Post offers some highlights from a new biography by Sinatra’s manager Eliot Weisman, and amongst them is speculation that Sinatra had a crush on Jackie O. He recalls a dinner to which Sinatra escorted the former FLOTUS.

“There were eight or 10 of us, and only one other woman besides Jackie O. Everyone was on guard and . . . on their best behavior. Unlike our usual raucous dinners, no one spoke loudly and there was not a curse word . . . Of all the dinners I would come to have with Sinatra, this was the most boring.”

A few years ago, another book by celebrity gossip writers claimed that Jackie O made a trip to his suite via the Daily Mail (highly trustworthy sources here, I apologize, but gossip it is). As far as we know, it didn’t work out.

Elizabeth Moss stands up for Scientology in a comments thread on her Instagram post announcing the last season one installment of the Handmaid’s Tail before the Emmys, Page Six has noticed.

moelybanks Love this adaptation so much. Question though, does it make you think twice about Scientology? Gilead and Scientology both believe that all outside sources (aka news) are wrong and evil... it’s just very interesting.

elisabethmossofficial @moelybanks that’s actually not true at all about Scientology. Religious freedom and tolerance and understanding and truth and equal rights for every race, religion and creed are extremely important to me. The most important things to me probably. And so Gilead and THT hit me on a very personal level. Thanks for the interesting question!! 😘

I’ll take a beauty tip.

marysivongsa @elisabethmossofficial HI! Does Offred wear any make up at all or are you free of makeup for 5 months? 😁

elisabethmossofficial @marysivongsa yup I do wear a tiny bit!! I have very blonde eyelashes, so I have to wear a touch of mascara or it looks like I don’t have eyelashes haha... and then wear Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer and depending on the scene sometimes enhanced dark circles under my eyes and red inside my eyes. But I worked so much and got so little sleep a lot of the dark circles and bags under my eyes I was kind enough to provide myself? 😜

Tragedy has struck the Selma Blair family. She recently lost her lap dog Ducky, star of her Instagram, in a terrible accident involving an unsuccessful attempt at reassembling the dog’s organs. The love was true. They even made a cameo on Animal Planet. Sorry Selma.

David Bowie and wife Iman had a child who is beautiful.

  • Eddie Murphy tested positive for a paternity test for Mel B’s ten-year-old daughter, and now both of them are being dragged into Mel B and Stephen Belafonte’s divorce proceedings, against the will of prettymuch everyone but Belafonte. [Page Six]
  • Mary J. Blige can’t catch a break. Adding to the fact that she now has to pay spousal support, she now, too, has to pay $6.5 million in taxes. Her New Jersey mansion has been on the market since 2015. [Daily Mail]
  • Kanoodling! Kardashians! Kourtney’s latest boyfriend, 23-year-old French model Younes Bendjima, was seen flirting with ANOTHER WOMAN aka 18-year-old model Sofia Richie. I guess this means a high-five and hugging in a parking lot. [TMZ]
  • Michael Douglas’s son Cameron will be having a child after six years in prison, two years of which were in solitary confinement for drug-related charges. His girlfriend Vivian Thibes stuck it out and waited for his release. Good for him. [Page Six]

Poor Selma Blair. Dogs don’t live anywhere near long enough.

And I know it’s sappy, but I can so relate to the “soul dog” comment. I have two dogs and I love them both like crazy, but one of them is wound around my heart in a way no other animal — or human, frankly — ever has been. He’s only 5, but I already worry about how I’ll cope when I lose him.
