Masterminds Trailer: Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig Rob a Bank

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig make absolutely terrible bank robbers.

Here is the trailer for Masterminds, a coming attraction from the pair. According to Slate, the movie is based on the very real, very large 1997 Loomis Fargo heist, in North Carolina. Galifianakis plays the “mastermind,” i.e., head idiot, with Wigg and Owen Wilson as conspirators. Galifianakis’s accent is drifting from side-to-side like a pickup truck drunkenly driven down a dirt road, but it could be a lot worse.
