Many Governors' Races Are Close, So, DEAR GOD, Go Vote

The general elections are right around the corner and several states’ governor races are neck and neck, so, please — for the love of uteruses, poor people and LGBT rights everywhere — get yourself to a polling place (or make sure you’re good to vote early) on November 4th.

According to the latest projections listed by Real Clear Politics, the governor races in Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Rhode Island and Wisconsin are currently too close to call, with some candidates separated by less than a point.

Remember: The choice in governor could mean all the difference to a woman seeking healthcare provided by services like Planned Parenthood, your gay friends who want to get married or a minimum wage-earning parent making $10 an hour instead of $7. TO THE POLLS.
