Mama June's Sex Offender Boyfriend Could End Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

There’s trouble in the paradise that is Here Comes Honey Boo Boo: family matriarch Mama June is reportedly dating a sex offender, throwing the future of their televised lives into question.

Last month, reports surfaced that Mama June had broken up with her husband Sugar Bear. Now TMZ is reporting that she’s moved on, getting involved with the definition of an unsavory character: her former boyfriend Mark McDaniel, who just got out of prison after 10 years served for the aggravated sexual molestation of a then 8-year-old relative of Mama June’s.

TLC (formerly known as The Learning Channel) is understandably not pleased with this development. While they finished filming season 4 of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo in August, the network says they “are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”
