Louis C.K. has canceled the premiere for his new movie I Love You Daddy ahead of a reported New York Times story, in case the story is “damaging,” the Hollywood Reporter reports. The premiere was set to take place Thursday night in New York. Jezebel has confirmed that CK’s team also canceled a planned appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

For several years, rumors have been circulating that CK masturbated in front of women who didn’t want him to, which were reported by Jezebel’s former sister site Gawker in 2015. In September, we made a public call for tips about the allegations. The Hollywood Reporter doesn’t say whether the upcoming Times story is supposedly about the sexual abuse allegations, only that CK’s team canceled the film premiere in case what’s reported is “damaging.” THR also reported that the Colbert appearance was canceled.

Jezebel has tried contacting CK for comment and will update in the extremely unlikely event that we hear back.
