Leaked Harry Potter Footage Incites Minor Studio Freak-Out

Latest

Thirty-six minutes of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has been leaked online before the film hits theaters tomorrow. Cue the hysteria!

The footage, which is remarkably easy to find thanks to detailed reporting by the Wall Street Journal, is fairly grainy and has the Warner Bros. watermark splashed across it. Despite the fact that no one, repeat, no one expects the leaked pixelated minutes of the film to actually ruin or impact box office numbers, a spokesperson for the studio is outraged and says the company intends to “prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law.” But seriously, as ONTD commenter x3raindropsx3 writes: “There is just no way I’m watching those 36 minutes when we have less [than] 40 hours left.” Even less than that now! Shows start at midnight!

But if you don’t give a shit and want some spoilers, here are three random minutes out of the 36 leaked:
