Multiple outlets are reporting Lamar Odom’s condition has “not improved” since he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel on Tuesday. People reports Odom is currently “breathing with the help of a ventilator” and that he could be “on his last leg.”
TMZ’s sources say “doctors continue to put Lamar’s chances of survival at 50/50” and that he was “entirely unresponsive all day Thursday.” Additionally, four of his vital organs are still failing, the site reports.
Khloé Kardashian remains responsible for his medical decisions, and has reportedly been by his side since arriving at Sunrise Hospital earlier this week. But though the Kardashians have continued filling their widely followed social media channels with prayers, they aren’t the only family in Odom’s life. In a statement released yesterday to CNN, his teenage children Destiny and Lamar Jr. wrote:
“Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad. We are here with our family and friends. We appreciate everyone respecting our privacy at this time. We ask for your continued prayers.”
Meanwhile, Dennis Hof, owner of the brothel where Odom was found, has been continuing his I-swear-there-were-no-illegal-drugs-involved press tour. During an appearance on Nancy Grace, he said, “We don’t think he was doing any drugs” beyond “herbal supplements.”
Hof also claims the Kardashians’s publicist contacted him to ask whether or not he would continue making media appearances:
“I said, ‘Yes, I’m going to go on the “Nancy Grace” show.’ And she [the Kardashian publicist] said, ‘Please don’t do that. We’d rather have Khloe say what needs to be said.’ I told her to go to hell.”
