Kesha is somewhere blue and beautiful celebrating her face and body with arty Instagram filters, which has naturally attracted people who like to make comments about celebrities’ faces and bodies.

It kicked off with this triptych, in which Kesha appears to be enjoying, sun, fun, and sand, perhaps topless:

Those look exactly like the photos I take of myself after I come home alone from the bar and notice how good the bathroom light is.

About an hour later, Kesha shared this double-fisted fuck you to her trolls or maybe the sunset:

In her caption she writes:

I have been battling depression and an eating disorder for a while now. my career is in a strange place and it feels like I’m fighting an uphill fight some days. but I have decided to take my life back. my freedom. my happiness. my voice. my worth. I will not just fucking be quiet and hide. today I will say fuck it and live. So FUUUUUUUUCK it. today I’m making that choice. AND IM HAPPY AS A DAMN CLAM. and also a big ol fuck u if u wanna hate on my body. just remember that makes u look like a dickhead.

I’m very happy to hear that Kesha is happy as a damn clam. She’s getting in touch with all sorts of sea creatures, actually:

She also celebrated her new embrace of self with a “whale” tattoo, which I truly love:

Let’s take this as a sign that Kesha is healing, despite the continued public harassment of her alleged abuser.

DISCUSSION

100% support for the majority of this post and Kesha’s positivity.
BUT.
Seriously, why do celebrities always get the worst tattoos!??? That is awful, awful quality and looks a lot more like a shark than a whale (I see the scare quotes in the article, too). Girl you MUST know somebody that can recommend a decent artist, come on.
