Kendall and Cara Choose Chanel Over Victoria's Secret

Both Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, two beautiful young women with very symmetrical faces and bold eyebrows, were asked to participate in this year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show and both were like, “HARD PASS. We’re modeling for Chanel instead.” Sorry, Victoria. Your secret does not intrigue the popular kids anymore.

According to the New York Post‘s “Threads” column, both Cara and Kendall were much sought after for the Victoria’s Secret show—or “annual bra bonanza” as the poet at the Post puts it—that is taking place in London on December 2nd. As it so happens, that’s the same day that Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld is presenting his Métiers d’Art collection in Salzburg, Austria and he wants both models as well.

From the outside, the choice is a no brainer. At the Victoria’s Secret show, you might end up stuck in just a bra, underpants and Native American headdress and at the Chanel show, you might get asked co-opt feminism by wearing a leisure suit and carrying a sign with a meaningless slogan on it. Only one of these options ends with you possibly dressed like ’70s era Gloria Steinem, so it’s obviously Chanel all the way.
