Kaya Scodelario to Play Ted Bundy's Wife in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile

Latest

Kaya Scodelario, who will forever remain my favorite brooding party monster/human jewelry rack on Skins, has been cast to play Ted Bundy’s wife on the forthcoming thriller Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil And Vile*.

Like many (most?) of her Skins co-stars, Scodelario has gone on to enjoy a productive career, landing roles in the Maze Runner trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean N0. 334, and other assorted films befitting her British origins.

In this case, Scodelario will play Carole Ann Boone, ex-wife of the utterly deranged serial killer, who will be portrayed by Zac Efron. Joining them will be Lily Collins as Bundy’s girlfriend, and John Malkovich as Judge Edward Cowart, who sentenced Bundy to death in 1979. To me, though, she will always be Effy Stonem, arguably the most captivating character on inarguably the greatest teen TV show ever.

If you need to brush-up on Bundy’s expansive and gruesome criminal career, you can do so here.

If you want to see a photo of Efron as Bundy, you can do that here:

If you want to spend some time bathing in the memory of Skins and Effy Stonem’s smoldering, eye-liner drenched gaze, you can do so here:

*Is it too late to change the name? This is too long.
