Joe Biden Got a Little Bruised Playing With His Dog

Joe Biden recently appeared at a press conference, standing behind Obama, looking a little dinged-up. Well, apparently that’s because his dog recently got a little overenthusiastic during playtime.

The AP reports:

Biden was seen on Monday with a dark, penny-sized contusion just below his lower lip. The bruise didn’t appear to be a serious injury.

The vice president’s office says Biden got the bruise from playing with his dog.

Biden and his family have a German shepherd named Champ.

Champ! Bad dog! Bad dog, Champ!
