Former Jerry Springer producer Jill Blackstone was arrested for murder in Los Angeles on Monday after she called police to inform them that a woman had committed suicide in her garage. Upon arrival, police discovered the body of her sister, Wendy Blackstone, and several crime scene details that led them to believe that the woman had actually been murdered.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, they received a call Monday from Blackstone saying there was a dead person and 3 dead dogs in her San Fernando Valley garage. Blackstone said the person killed herself, but when authorities arrived they thought the suicide note looked suspicious and believe it was written by Jill.
The victim, Wendy Blackstone, was 49 years old and lived in Studio City. We're told the body showed no outward signs of trauma and the coroner is doing a toxicology report.
Jill Blackstone, who was also a producer on Dr. Drew and Sally Jesse Raphael, was held on $1 million and was released Wednesday afternoon. The case is currently being investigated and can so far be summed up with "Jesus fucking Christ."
