Jennifer Saunders Says That She'll Write an Absolutely Fabulous Movie

Absolutely Fabulous is returning. Again. Maybe? No, it will return, by golly, even if creator Jennifer Saunders has torture herself to write some new material. There’s a twist, though — AbFab will be reincarnated as a movie.

In a recent interview with the UK talk show This Morning, Saunders explained why she released an AbFab teaser poster stamped with the dat 2015 this week: “”There isn’t [a movie] but there will be. I’m close to picking up a pen, that’ how close it is.”

“There will be” are dangerous words when it comes to film production, but Joanna Lumley seems to think that if someone, say, kidnaps Saunders and forces her to stick to a deadline, the AbFab movie happen, just as soon as Saunders finishes writing her memoir.
