James Corden shared a very special edition of Carpool Karaoke on Thursday, featuring queen of secular Christmas, Mariah Carey. There were also some special guests that he’d been filming throughout the year so they could make a cameo in the best holiday song of all time. Those guests include Adele, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Elton John, Chris Martin, Gwen Stefani, Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas, and alleged sexual assaulters, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Seeing who gets a vocalized line is a fun game. Based on this video, I’d guess that Gwen Stefani just doesn’t have the range.
Happily, Mariah Carey is there to really nail the octaves we need to conjure the Christmas spirit and, as always, she makes it look like she’s not even trying.
