An Italian woman claims $140 worth of furniture, paintings, and pet outfits were stolen from her home in the Facebook game Pet Society. The thief could serve one to five years for "illegal and aggravated entry" into her email.
Regardless of how ultimately frivolous the amount, the fact that any money is involved is kind of important, even if what the money was spent on is considered silly. Wire fraud can lead to potentially bigger problems. Had this simply been an issue of someone's account and disposable freeware getting borked by a prankster, Facebook would simply inform the user to change the password and use their new login notification feature.
