During an appearance on The Wanda Sykes Show last night, Erykah Badu addressed the controversy surrounding her "Window Seat" video, telling Sykes that her "point was grossly misunderstood all over America." Afterward, Sykes premiered a video of her own. [EW]
I watched Wanda Sykes last night. And even though Badu was given the opportunity to explain what she intended with the video, she never even attempted to do so. Just a a lot of blathering nonsensically about performance art. She also stated several times that she cannot ever make a dime from her recordings. And Sykes was no better. She just kept saying that she 'got it'.
At this rate, I am not convinced that she didn't deserve the disorderly conduct citation.
