You’ll always remember where you were when you watched OJ’s Bronco chase, you’ll always remember where you were when the verdict was read, and you’ll always remember where you were when you watched the trailer for Ryan Murphy’s newest piece of hobbled together, not-quite-there camp masquerading as good television, American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J.

You will remember watching Sarah Paulson as (Marcia Clark) saying, “Nobody gets killed in Brentwood,” while wearing in the least popular wig from LA’s oldest and dirtiest wig store.

You will remember watching John Travolta (as Robert Shapiro)—covered in a hearty layer of makeup and fake eyebrows—and thinking, “Wow this may be the best role of his career!!”

You will remember watching Selma Blair (as Kris Kardashian) turning to Connie Britton (as Faye Resnick) and whispering, “Do you think he did it?” at Nicole Simpson’s funeral.

You will remember rewinding the trailer to look at both of them again:

You will remember watching Cuba Gooding Jr. (as O.J. Simpson) say, “I’m not black. I’m O.J.”

You will remember watching Courtney B. Vance (as Johnnie Cochran) shout, “CHOOSE A SIDE.”
