
Virginia officials ordered a review of U.S. history textbooks by Five Ponds Press, which are used in some Virgina classrooms, only to find that they're chock full of glaring inaccuracies, including "wrong dates and facts everywhere."

I don't remember the name of my AP US history textbook, but man, it sure used an unnecessary amount of flowery language and questionable similes and metaphors. I remember thinking, "This is a history textbook, not an literature textbook. So get to the point!"
