Hilary Duff’s neighbor sounds like kind of an asshole, but aren’t there, like, co-op boards and email chains for that type of shit? If you live in Soho?
On Wednesday, Duff published a series of Instagram Stories complaining about her neighbor Dieter Addison, who, according to Page Six, is a young “German beer scion.” Duff told her 9 million followers that Addison “smokes cigarettes and weed all night long,” until her apartment reeks of it. She also indulged in some ad hominem attacks, saying, ‘We know your parents pay your rent. We know you’ve never worked a day in your life—must be nice. Have some respect for your neighbors who work hard to live in the building.”
Addison did not take it well. He told Page Six on Wednesday that he’s hiring lawyers over the pot smoking allegations, which he says are false, in fact, he says he’s sober and works three jobs. He added, “I am from a very private German family.”
In an article published a little later in the day by Page Six, Addison also claimed that Duff’s boyfriend, Matthew Koma, tried to punch him in the face that morning. “I tried to avoid his fist, but he hit me on the head,” Addison said. “So I pushed hm out of the apartment, but I did not assault him.”
