Great news, Baderites (Baderettes?): the day you can get your hands on a copy of the highly-anticipated biography of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is fast approaching. And now, here’s your first look at its cover.

Co-author (and Jezebel alumna) Irin Carmon of MSNBC tells Jezebel that the yellow bits on the cover will be foil. If the book’s shininess isn’t enough to entice you, this juicy blurb should be:

NOTORIOUS RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg offers a visually rich, intimate, unprecedented look at the Justice and how she changed the world. From Ginsburg’s refusal to let the slammed doors of sexism stop her to her innovative legal work, from her before-its-time feminist marriage to her perch on the nation’s highest court — with the fierce dissents to match — get to know BGas never before. As the country struggles with the unfinished business of gender equality and civil rights, Ginsburg stands as a testament to how far we can come with a little chutzpah.

You can find out more on Notorious RBG’s October release here and preorder here. Now, if they could only get rumored RBG BFF Antonin Scalia to write a blurb...

Did you guys know that RBG just gave a speech for Pesach (which is the best holiday) where she talked about the story of Shifra and Puah which is the best and most feminist-est story in the entire Torah? It’s like, every time you think she can’t get any more perfect, she does another awesome thing that raises the bar for what perfection means.

(And, no, I haven’t listened to the speech or read a transcript yet. I heard about it from my mom and I’m saving that and Louis C.K.’s new special for a day when I’m feeling sad and need some serious cheering up.)
