Here's Lorde Riding Low on a Cover of Jeremih's 'Don't Tell 'Em'

Here’s Lorde in the reliably excellent cover factory of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, covering Jeremih and YG’s ubiquitous “Don’t Tell ‘Em.”

“It’s quite a saucy song,” she says, and she does a solid job here: the hook with Lorde’s breathy ominousness catches a Eurythmics feel that brings it closer to Snap!’s original, and she hits a stride on Jeremih’s second verse (the “as if you got a pool with it!” line in particular).

Via Pitchfork, she also performed her Hunger Games song “Yellow Flicker Beat.”
