OT question for people....

I’ve talked here before about not having a relationship with my dad because he is toxic (usually on all the bullshit from Meghan Markle’s dad). I am extremely close with a cousin from his side of family and will be in her wedding next summer. She told me she was planning on inviting him because he is very close with her parents. She knows all about our relationship and said she was planning to talk to him about respecting me (and my sister who will be at the wedding who also doesn’t have a relationship with him) and not approaching us at all. She also said he wouldn’t be staying on the property with most of the rest of the wedding party and family. I don’t want to make her wedding be about me but I am uncomfortable being there with him. The wedding is out in the Catskills and it isn’t like I can just leave if I feel like I need to, which is what freaks me out the most. I know that since I’m in the wedding I won’t have a lot of downtime for him to approach me but I’m also worried about my sister who would just be a guest. We will have a lot of support and people who can help run interference for us but it feels kind of absurd to ask people who are trying to enjoy a wedding to monitor us and him. My cousin doesn’t have much of a relationship with him because of us and all of this could be avoided if she just didn’t invite him but it also feels really inappropriate to tell someone else who they can/can’t invite to their own wedding....Does anyone have any advice?
