George Zimmerman Will Fight DMX in Fucked Up 'Celebrity' Boxing Match

It was recently announced that George Zimmerman, the Sanford, Florida man who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012, had signed on with fight promoter Damon Feldman to participate in a “celebrity” boxing match with a hitherto unnamed opponent. Yeah, apparently murdering an unarmed teenager as he attempts to walk home to his dad’s girlfriend’s house officially makes you a real celeb now. What the fuck is wrong with everybody?

The terms of the fight are that Zimmerman would have to box whoever Feldman selected from the 15,000 applicants who wanted in the ring. As if the proceedings weren’t already disgusting enough, Zimmerman expressed particular interest in fighting Kanye West because he doesn’t like West’s history of attacking “defenseless people.” What Zimmerman is referring to here is the recent incident where West punched an 18-year-old who reportedly called West’s fiancée a “nigger lover.” Just a likely unnecessary reminder of the irony at work here: George Zimmerman shot an unarmed, 158-lbs, black kid in the lung and heart and he thinks he’s in a place to call out Kanye for picking on people. Jesus fucking Christ.

Thankfully, Kanye West did not respond to the offer, but rapper DMX did. Today, on what would have been Trayvon Martin’s 19th birthday, it was announced that DMX will fight George Zimmerman at a time and place to be determined.

According to TMZ, DMX has promised to “beat the living fuck out [Zimmerman],” break “every rule in boxing to make sure I fuck him right up” and that he’d end the fight by pissing on George Zimmerman’s face. Justice in America, everybody!
