Caitlin is a mortician with a background in cremation and a writer living in Los Angeles. If you have questions about death, she will answer them. In this video — episode one — she explains rigor mortis (it starts in and around the eyes) and shows off her pet python.
How does one get into this profession? I'm serious. Do you need to get a degree in something, or do they have special trade-colleges for training morgue employees? What if I just wanted to do some kind of internship at a morgue? Is something in that capacity only possible through court-ordered programs? Maybe she could answer my questions.
