Longoria, who got her start in shows like General Hospital and The Young and the Restless, told Meyers: “The difference between daytime soaps and nighttime soaps is that in the daytime soaps, the men are the divas.” She recalled a time when her male scene partner kept saying the wrong line, which she was then repeatedly blamed for; “The men could do no wrong,” she concluded.
