Happy Monday, this volcano is smiling. Or is it?
The above video is an overhead shot of the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. Visible in the embers of this glowing eruption from MOM Nature is what appears to be a smiley face, according to many observers. It’s pleasant, for sure, but actually looks more like a smirk to me.
According to ABC News, the volcano “has been continuously erupting since 1983, making it one of the most active volcanoes in the world.” So this event is no big deal, save for the fact that the volcano seems to be gloating about how cool it is? Which isn’t cool. Make of it what you will.
