Elohim's 'She Talks Too Much' Is a Catchy Song About Your Lamest Enemy

Entertainment

The resolute non-specificity and quarter-full chorus of Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood”—which nonetheless gets stuck in my head at least once a day because it’s fun to sing Cause baby now we got dadbods—has left me hungry for a better girl-on-girl diss track, and this debut track by the aggressively named LA artist Elohim fits the bill nicely.

It’s a little earworm, all lush, lazy candy, and the chorus melts through a couple of tight burns about that person you know who’ll corner you at a party and tell you everything about a series of imagined haters: It’s like her lips are tokens/ And they’ve just run out, and It’s like the sound of crazy/ And it’s much too loud/ I think she’s taking over/ She talks too much.
