Drew Barrymore & Eddie Murphy Are Hollywood's Most Overpaid Stars

Each year Forbes compiles a list of which actors are paid way more than they deserve (and amazingly, the answer is never “all of them”). This year Drew Barrymore tops the list, as her recent films Everybody’s Fine and Lucky You didn’t even bring in enough to finance one Kardashian wedding. Yet, that’s a bit unfair to Drew. He’s Just Not That Into You, which she produced and appeared in, made $180 million, but it wasn’t counted because ostensibly people didn’t go to the movie to see Drew. We prefer to think people only saw that film as part of a dare, so if Drew can’t count it, no one should.

3. Will Ferrell — $3.50 for every $1 he’s paid

4. Reese Witherspoon — $3.55 for every $1 she’s paid

5. Denzel Washington — $4.25 for every $1 he’s paid

6. Nicolas Cage — $4.40 for every $1 he’s paid

7. Adam Sandler — $5.20 for every $1 he’s paid

8. Vince Vaughn — $5.20 for every $1 he’s paid

9. Tom Cruise — $6.35 for every $1 he’s paid

10. Nicole Kidman— $6.70 for every $1 she’s paid
