Don Jr. on That Russia Email: When I Said 'I Love It'…. I Did Not Love It

Politics

The Senate Judiciary Committee just released more than 2,000 pages of documents and transcripts from interviews they conducted with participants of the infamous 2016 Trump Tower meeting, including Donald Trump Jr. Unsurprisingly, the young Don’s testimony was incredibly sus.

The summer before the 2016 election, Don Jr. received an email claiming that his father’s former business partner in Russia was contacted by a Russian government official who was offering the Trump campaign some dirt on Hillary Clinton. The information “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,” according to the email.

Don Jr. replied: “If it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer.”

But according to his interview before the Senate Judiciary Committee… he didn’t love it. “I love it” is actually something you just say when you are very busy and focused on other things.

From the transcripts it is clear that,

He:

Does:

Not:

Love it:

Makes sense!
