Did Oprah Steal Her "Own Your Power" Slogan?

Oprah is being sued by the owner of Own Your Power Communications, Inc. for stealing the phrase “Own Your Power” and passing it off as Oprah’s own:

“The suit claims the infringement continued when the magazine directed readers to a section of O’s website called Own Your Power.

Kelly-Brown alleges a self-help collision nearly occurred when she and Oprah both hosted Own Your Power events in the same city … just days apart.

Kelly-Brown is suing for unspecified damages.
