Jerry Greer, 19-year-old son of country singer Craig Morgan, was found dead on Monday, July 11. He had been missing since Sunday, when he fell overboard during a Kentucky Lake boating trip in Tennessee.

According to ET, Greer and a companion were riding in a raft pulled by a boat. Both were thrown overboard, and Greer did not reemerge. The official cause of death has not yet been reported.

In a statement to ET, Morgan’s representative wrote, “The family is grateful for the outpouring of support and requests prayers at this time as they privately mourn this terrible loss...Funeral arrangements are pending.”

The country music community has, in the meantime, already begun to post tributes to the grieving family.

Surviving Greer are his father, his mother, a sister, two brothers, and a brother-in-law.
