Minnie Mouse—icon—has been granted a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Minnie gets the honor as her first movie, Steamboat Willie, turns 90. Hers is the 2,627th star awarded; the paper noted that, “Minnie joins several other Disney characters on the hallowed sidewalks of Hollywood, including Donald Duck, Tinker Bell, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White and Kermit the Frog.”

Katy Perry, who owes half her schtick to the cartoon character, appeared at the ceremony, praising Minnie: “Her style is the epitome of fun fashion,” she said. “To this day, no one rocks a bow, the color red or a dot quite like her. Trust me. I am trying.”

Mickey Mouse, for the record, received his star in 1978.
