One of the entries read, in carefully lettered Hindi: 'In front of my eyes, I'll never ever allow child marriages to happen. I'll save each and every girl.'"

The photo of the girl who was stabbed by her husband is possibly the most upsetting photograph I have ever seen. That you cannot see any part of her but her blood has soaked through all the fabric is (to me anyway) the absolute manifestation of human isolation.
