Deauville, France, May 26: French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy confirmed pregnancy rumors in style today by showing up to the G8 Summit in a chic white sheath that screams coos "maternity dress." This is monumental news, people! It isn't every Unsolicited Uterus Update that gets a write up in the New York Times.

Is it weird that when I hear/read of someone who is older than I am (I'm 41) having a baby, I think, "Well, it's not too late for me"? I don't even want to have a baby now. (Nothing wrong with it, I just think that I'm too old at this point.) But I guess I take comfort in knowing that I *could* have a baby. Or, at least, it might still be possible for me, since others have kids in their '40s. (Obviously just b/c someone else is pregnant over 40 doesn't mean that I would get pregnant, of course.) Rambling now. She looks nice.
