The long-awaited trailer for Captain Marvel, starring Brie Larson, is finally here. She’s a fighter pilot! She falls from the heavens into a Blockbuster! She punches an old lady!
It is funny and sort of delightful that both Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman 2 are due in 2019 and will take place in the 1990s and 1980s, respectively, affording many opportunities for cross-generational enjoyment of women superheroes. However, there’s just one time problem, as noted by Joanna Scutts (who previously spoke to this website about the fascinating Marjorie Hillis):
