Camille Cosby has filed another emergency motion to delay her deposition on Monday, her lawyers citing that she “has had no involvement with the facts or allegations underlying this case.”
As ABC News reports, Cosby’s lawyers filed a motion late Saturday arguing that her testimony would generate “an unnecessary media circus and personal security threat that serves no purpose other than to harass and embarrass her.”
This is despite the fact on Friday, a federal judge ruled that Cosby’s deposition must proceed as scheduled in a defamation lawsuit brought against her husband by seven women who allege that he sexually assaulted them.
