About a week and a half ago, I was hungry but not hungry, if you know what I mean. I didn't know what I wanted, but I wanted it to be good, and I didn't want that much of it. Just the taste on my tongue. Anyway, I ended up having half a small wheel of camembert for dinner, thinking it was kind of weird but just, you know, going with it. And the next day, BAM: My period had arrived. Early. But suddenly my dinner made sense, and I felt less strange about it: Hey, my body was telling me something: It was craving fat. I merely obeyed. There have been similar instances with steak (iron-rich!) and olives. I'd like to think my body knows what it needs, but there's also the chance that I just needed comfort, and cheese is comfort food. That said, je ne regrette rien. What are your PMS cravings?
