Bryan Singer has reportedly been fired from directing the new Freddie Mercury biopic. Production was initially halted after Singer failed to return to set after Thanksgiving. The Hollywood Reporter writes that Rami Malek also reportedly complained to the studio about the director’s unprofessionalism and that star Tom Hollander briefly quit the film as well due to Singer’s behavior.
