Bruce Jenner Might Talk Transition Rumors With Diane Sawyer

Bruce Jenner has not – in his own human words – told the public that he is transitioning. So, until Bruce Jenner says that Bruce Jenner is transitioning let’s not all run into the middle of the street and scream at passersby that Bruce Jenner is transitioning.

On Monday, Buzzfeed reported that ABC News’ Diane Sawyer is in the final stages of negotiating a sit down with Jenner where he may be planning to possibly discuss the rumors.

Jenner’s coming out will be timed with the announcement of a docuseries that has been following Jenner and the extended Kardashian-Jenner family, BuzzFeed News has also confirmed. The upcoming reality series will air on E!, the NBC Universal cable channel that has broadcast the lives of this famous family since 2007. That E!’s corporate sibling NBC News seemingly will not be landing the Jenner sitdown has caused internal consternation in the news division, as its booking war with ABC News continues to cause strife. NBC’s only hope is that with the Kardashian-Jenners, anything can happen. A spokesman for ABC News had no comment.

Hmmm, ok. Well, even though Buzzfeed says Jenner will be making an announcement, I’m just gonna sit tight. Ya dig?

Stacey Dash made some extremely weird comments on Fox’s extremely weird show, Outnumberd, about how young women should behave. Actually, pause. It was beyond extremely weird: Dash stopped short of saying that if a young woman is getting drunk then she deserves to be raped. It was wayyyyyy fucking harsh Tai.

Here’s what she said:

The other bad girls–bad women–are the ones who like to be naughty, might go out and play and get hurt and then, you know…But the other thing about this is that it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who over-drinks. So it’s like, the same thing with guns. Guns don’t kill people; people kill people. Alcohol doesn’t get you drunk; you get yourself drunk.

Now she’s apologizing. Dash says on her Facebook page:

After a failed attempt at humor about “good girls” and “naughty girls,” during my recent appearance on Outnumbered, I transitioned to the very serious issue of men blaming alcohol for their vile behavior. LET ME BE CLEAR: I am a victim of physical and sexual abuse. My point was that there IS NO EXCUSE for a man taking advantage of women under any circumstances. I believe that these universities focusing on alcohol consumption as a means to stop evil behavior takes the focus off the real issue of the objectification of women and how that can be prevented. I apologize to anyone who believed I was blaming the victims of these horrible acts.

Looks like the Vatican just doesn’t get us Amurrrican women. A promotional video featuring sexy Italian actress, Nancy Brilli, was taken down after it was ridiculed for being totally traditional and out of touch. According to the AP “The Vatican’s culture minister acknowledged Monday that his office must expand its horizons.” Yeah dudes, in a lot more ways than this promo video. Start with, oh I dunno, a woman’s right to choose.
