Breaking: Jezebel Editor In Need Of Rest, New Challenges

Some bittersweet news:

Later this month, after three amazing, unbelievably rewarding years as founder/editor-in-chief of Jezebel, I will be leaving the site. My last day as EIC will be June 30, at which point the lovely and amazing Jessica Coen – who came on board earlier this year after much begging and pleading on my part – will be taking over the top spot. For the rest of the summer I’ll be working and consulting on book and TV projects for the site, traveling, writing, and getting some much-needed sleep. More to come in the weeks ahead but for now: thanks to all.
