Beyoncé Vegan Diet Update: 'I Still Eat Meat, But...'

In case you were digging for more information on Beyoncé’s new way of eating—nay, LIVING—Beyoncé(’s team) posted this informational YouTube video that features her diet creator Marco Borges breaking it all down.


In the Beyoncé-endorsed promo above, Borges says, “22 Days is about allowing people to define plant-based living the way that works best for them.”


The diet—or whatever you want to call it—completely rules out dairy, gluten and eggs, but Borges stresses that after the 22 days are up people can alter the plan as they see fit. Which is why Beyoncé is still a meat eater.

“Not only did I make it through the 22 days, I felt so incredible,” she says, adding that, “Now, you know, I still eat meat and it’s all about balance, but absolutely I make better choices.”

This video also hams up the success story of a guy who weighed 220 pounds and lost 70 in four months. He says, “It’s like the world gave me something back.”

Borges, who knows the reason many people are trying his diet in the first place is because many people want Beyoncé’s body, says, “It’s not about trying to be someone else’s body.”
