Barbara Walters Stopped by SNL to Say Bye to Television

Barbara Walters is set to officially retire from television this week, so it looks like she’s sort of making the rounds before she heads out. She dropped by Weekend Update on last night’s episode of SNL (hosted by a sort of tiresome Charlize Theron) to give some advice about her, um, grain of journalism and to give herself a send off.

SNL provided a quick overview of all the times they poked fun at her, and it’s sort of weird because Cheri Oteri did Barbara Walters better than Barbara Walters. Still, the rest of the segment is cute in that Aw Grandma way and is totally aided by her wide-eyed teleprompter reading face.
