When baby elephant Chhouk was found starving and abandoned in the Cambodian wilderness four years ago, he was missing his front left foot. His injuries — sustained because of those pesky poachers — left him with severe balance issues and unable to fully walk. Happy ending time: He was eventually fitted for a prosthetic foot. His rapid increase in size requires a new prosthetic every year. They grow up so fast, don't they?
