Adorable Kids Adorably Interrupt Marriage Equality Conference

Dr. Paul Melchert recently composed an eloquent statement on how a family with two gay parents produces children that are just as normal and well adjusted as families with opposite sex parents. He had hoped to give the statement at a Minnesota news conference while surrounded by his partner and two beautiful children, but things didn’t go as planned as son Emmett decided to go rogue. Fortunately, this proved Melchert’s point (and warmed a lot of hearts) by showing just how silly and normal these kids can be.

Also, “I want daddy to stop talking” is how I plan on saying “shut up” from now on. Thanks, Emmett!
