Abby Lee Miller of Dance Moms Accused of Hiding $755K in Income During Bankruptcy Filing

Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller appeared in court on November 2, 2015 in order to plead her innocence in a bankruptcy fraud case. Just last month Miller was charged with 20 counts of bankruptcy fraud.

According to Us Weekly, Miller “appeared in federal court in Pittsburgh on Monday, Nov. 2…The Dance Moms star was indicted in October on 20 counts, which also included concealment of bankruptcy accents and false bankruptcy declarations.”

All this seems nasty enough, but to top it off, Miller “is accused of trying to hide $755,492.85 of income…when she filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2010.” If she is found guilty, Miller could be imprisoned for up to five years and face a $250,000 fine for each count.

And yet, today Miller approached the courthouse as cheerful as could be, reminding her fans that “Season 6 jackets are on sale on the website Wednesday.”
