Uh-oh: Sports Illustrated is reporting that Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003, which just happens to be the same year he took home the AL MVP award and Home Run title. Not good!

According to Sports Illustrated:"Rodriguez's name appears on a list of 104 players who tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in Major League Baseball's '03 survey testing." When asked about the allegations by an SI reporter on Thursday, Rodriguez replied, "You'll have to talk to the union. I'm not saying anything." Yikes. [Sports Illustrated]

I hate to break any of the rules here, but ... can we just get some pictures of puppies and kittens, PLEASE? Between this story and the one with Phelps, I'm sick of the emphasis American culture places on our athletic "heroes." So, A-Rod likes to juice up and Phelps likes to light up. Big deal. I just took an NSAID with my anti-depressant at the risk of internal bleeding. Report that, CNN!
