A Hunger Games Ride Is Coming Because Running for Your Life is Fun

Soon, you too will be able to fight for your life like Katniss Everdeen: The Hunger Games movie franchise is getting its own ride at a new Hollywood theme park in Dubai.

According to my favorite site this week, Deadline: Lionsgate, the production house behind both films, will have a “zone” at a forthcoming park called Motiongate Dubai, featuring rides and party spaces inspired by Katniss Everdeen and the Hunger Games series. No real information was released about what the rides would entail, but we can assume bows, arrows, bombs and dystopian death will abound. The Step Up franchise also be celebrated in the form of a live stage show, probably involving many group dance battles, puddles for performers to stomp in for no weather-related reason and little to no Magic Mike shenanigans.
