There Are Weird Contact Lenses in The Host, But It's No Twilight

The final Twilight film is about to hit theaters, but we’re not done with Stephenie Meyer projects yet: The film adaptation of the writer’s sci-fi-romance novel, The Host, will be released in March 2013.

In this trailer, Saoirse Ronan — brilliant in Hanna — plays Melanie, one of the few humans left in a future where aliens have conquered Earth. She meets a guy, there’s some kissing, and then things go horribly wrong. But at least there are no sparkling vampires.

Also, there’s only one awesome movie called The Host and this is it.
